Mark Sifneos Youngest Foreigner to Play in ISL

This post is about a person I am jealous of. He is none other than the KBFCforward Mark Sifneos because dude, he is just 18 years old

This year something unusual happened in ISL. Normally the clubs would go for  foreign players who are aged above 30.  And on the other hand kbfc would wait and wait till the d day and buy the left out foreign players for a small amount of money. But thankfully the players bought by kerala blasters performed well and are now playing for some good clubs.

And this year, with the addition of 2 more teams to isl, the total no. of teams in isl have become 10. So, ISL received recognition from FIFA and AFC. So, the winner of this season will be qualified for the afc cup.

Therfore, KBFC mgt has bought some good players for this season. But it was surprising for everyone when they signed mark sifneos who is just 18 years old.

Mark Sifneos was born on 24 december 1998 at Armsterdam, Netherlands. He is 6 ft 3 inches tall and his playing position is forward. Mark Sifneos went for 5 different clubs during his youth career.

In 2015, he was signed by RKC Walwijk, a club that plays in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of football in netherlands.

He made his professional debut on 1 feb 2016 against Jong PSV.

And so far, from the two seasons, he has made only 3 appearances for the club and has not scored even a single goal.

Yes, you heard it right, Mark Sifneos is just an 18 years old young boy, who has made only 3 professional appearances and never scored a goal, but still kbfc bought him. Currently he is the youngest foreign player to be signed by an isl club.

I hope that he turns out to be an asset to the club and wish him all the luck.
